Dr Peter Slavy, will be presenting a plenary talk on "Antibody-Display Libraries in Mammalian Cells Created Using CRISPR/Cas9 and TALE Nucleases" at 8.55 on Wednesday 12th July. The presentation will cover the use of directed integration of antibody genes by CRISPR/Cas9 and TALE nucleases to construct large libraries in mammalian cells containing a single antibody gene/cell. This allows for the generation of  millions of monoclonal stable cell lines displaying full IgG antibodies on their surface from which novel binders can be isolated using flow cytometry or antigen coated magnetic beads. Further to this, the expression and selection of the lead antibodies in the context of mammalian cells allows developability traits to be factored into early discovery.
